Presently, Centre is emphasizing on genome wide studies which includes development of tools and techniques for search of novel sources of nitrile metabolizing enzymes. Beside this, Centre provides various facilities for M.Sc and B.Tech students belonging to different institute of northern India for completing their research project i.e. In silico studies of different industrially important microbial and plant enzymes. Centre has recently installed sequence & molecular modeling software for detailed In-silico analysis of various bioinformatical problems.
